I'll get a better shot of the jersey this weekend. Its theme is "global warming" with glowing mushroom clouds front and back, the little yellow and black radiation warning symbols on the shoulders and "Nuke 'Em" on the sides. I wore it to the exam and one of the instructors asked if I were planning to "bomb" the test.

It was not hard to pass all the "free sample" invites at all the vineyards. I just have to tighten the steering damper and the bike won't turn.

We thought, looking at the map, that this forest service road would take us an hour or more. We were down in about fifteen minutes.

I walked in here to deliver a message from Paul to the lady who had given him a tomato and was concerned about his cycling off into the desert/mountains. I thought I'd walked into the last century: Stetson-wearing cowpokes in boots and the like, sitting around tables swilling cold ones and spitting baccy-juice into a spitoon in the corner. The only person out of character (or should I say uniform) was the blonde in the UPS uniform, who was plastered to her 'poke. I didn't know which I longed for more, my sixgun or a Budweiser...

I am standing amidst debris which are remnants of columns which have eroded off the tower.

About Me

Gregory N. Locsin: Algorfa, Alicante, Spain; Greg Locsin was born in New York City and raised in the Philippines where he started painting in his teens, under the tutelage of his mother. He attended the University of Hawaii majoring in Agriculture and Journalism, having been convinced by his father that he would not eat if he pursued art. After several varied careers, he returned to the pursuit of creating art. He is mostly self-taught, but has studied photography, drawing and painting at the Portland School of Fine and Applied Arts and the Maine College of Art, as well as continuing education courses in St. John , Canada and others presented by Debra Bickford of Bull Pine Studio in Maine. Having moved to Algorfa in 2010, Greg now divides his time between painting and cycling, being fed by a pension.
